Emergency Financial Assistance

Over the years we have grown from our original emergency financial assistance team to now providing ten different outreaches serving community members within New Castle and Silt. Read below to see how we have made an impact within our community in 2023 and to date in 2024.

1,070 bags delivered to children during the 2022-2023 school year.

1,400 bags delivered to children in the 2023-2024 school year.

Meal Monkey

5,771 lunches delivered.

386 lunches delivered.

Angel Tree

135 Christmas gifts provided.

School Supplies

$2,000.00 in gift cards was provided to all six area schools in order to help teachers purchase needed items. Individual student needs were also met with clothing, shoes, backpacks.

Community Gardens

459 pounds of produce was provided to the community through the local food pantry. 12 individual plots was provided for community members.

Senior Luncheon

A weekly luncheon was provided each Wednesday to seniors with an average of 15-20 seniors in attendance last year. 

A weekly luncheon is provided to seniors on Wednesdays as well as an activity once a month as well as presenters and performers for our seniors once a month. 

Crystal Mariscal Scholarship Fund

No scholarships awarded. 

Volunteer New Castle

1,697 volunteer hours logged in 2023.

The volunteer, business, and organization of the year were celebrated during the Burning Mountain Festival.
