Over the years we have grown from our original emergency financial assistance team to now providing eleven different outreaches serving community members within New Castle and Silt. Read below to see how we have made an impact within our community in 2023 and to date in 2024.

1,070 bags delivered to children during the 2022-2023 school year.

135 Christmas gifts provided.

$2,000.00 in gift cards was provided to all six area schools in order to help teachers purchase needed items. Individual student needs were also met with clothing, shoes, backpacks.

459 pounds of produce was provided to the community through the local food pantry. 12 individual plots was provided for community members.

65.6 pounds of produce has been provided to the community so far through the local food pantry. 12 individual plots has been rented our to community members to grow their own produce.

A weekly luncheon was provided each Wednesday to seniors with an average of 15-20 seniors in attendance last year. 

A weekly luncheon is provided to seniors on Wednesdays. We have guest speakers and performers join us and present once a month as well. 

This is our first year offering this scholarship to high school seniors. $1,000 scholarship were awarded to five high school seniors residing in New Castle or Silt. 

1,697 volunteer hours logged in 2023.

The volunteer, business, and organization of the year were celebrated during the Burning Mountain Festival.
