SCHOOL OUTREACHES
Angel Tree provides a Christmas gift to children referred to us by local schools or partnering organizations.
Our Back to School drive supplies much needed school supplies to all six schools in New Castle and Silt. Each school is asked for their top five needs. We continue meeting specific needs for kids throughout the year as well that are referred by the school counselors.
Our school district runs on a four day school week. Our Meal Monkey outreach provides a healthy sack lunch for kids 18 and younger each Friday throughout the year. We have multiple locations in New Castle and Silt that lunches are delivered to by volunteers.
Totes of Hope provides a sack of 6-8 non-perishable food each Wednesday for kids to take home for the weekend. These bags provide 1-2 meals for the families. Four local schools receive these bags and we have a food pantry available at the high school.
Winter Clothing Distribution provides warm clothing each year to anyone living in Garfield County. Clothing is donated by the community and distributed at the local fair grounds.

The River Center would like to continue offering The Totes of Hope Program throughout the summer to families who may still benefit from it. If you feel you could benefit from this program, please fill out the form below. One form per family per household.
